The largest communication resource of Russia, Mail.Ru, summed up the results of the contest “Best Gadget of 2014” according to the Runet.
In the last vote for the fifth time, 54 nominations were submitted, more than 330 models of popular equipment in 7 categories fought for the title of the best gadget.
Voting ended on February 10, in total almost 2.5 million votes of Runet users were cast. The undisputed leaders in most categories were Sony and ASUS. Based on the results of the voting, our resource compiled gadget ratings as of the beginning of 2015.

The best smartphone of 2015
According to the survey, the best smartphone was the flagship Sony Xperia Z3, and Explay Fresh was noted in the budget smartphone category. When choosing a smartphone for price / quality, users recommend giving preference to Nokia Lumia 735, and buying a camera phone, do not skimp on the LG G3.
Best laptop of 2015
In this category, the struggle between ASUS, Apple and Lenovo has traditionally unfolded. ASUS Zenbook UX305 is recognized as the best, and the title of the most powerful gaming laptop went to ASUS ROG G751, choosing between price and quality you should buy ASUS X550CC.

In the nomination of cameras, as expected, the main struggle unfolded between Nikon and Canon. So, Canon EOS 7D Mark II was recognized as the best SLR camera, and Sony RX100 III as digital one. In the ranking of mirrorless cameras gaining popularity, Olympus OM-D E-M10 was noted.
Best Action Camera of 2015
Here, a clear leader was determined from the very beginning of the vote, so the intrigue did not work, GoPro Hero 4 Black was recognized as the best action camera.
