Magazine Forbes presents the list of the most influential brands in the world. The rating was compiled on the basis of profit figures from the sale of goods or services, the approximate financial value of the company, and customer surveys about how important a particular brand is to them. The list includes more than 200 world-famous companies, however, only those companies with representative offices in the USA were taken into account. Therefore, the state-owned Chinese company China Mobile (the world's largest provider of mobile communications) was not included in the rating.
